Challenges and Successes of Management Event at MATS

Another event to bring to you the ‘Challenges and Successes of Management’ in Malta is being organised by HAAM. Following the first successful event organised at Methode Electronics, the HAAM committee will be organising a visit to the Malta Air Traffic Services (MATS) on Saturday 17 March 2018 starting at 9:00am (followed by lunch at 12noon). The aim being to bring you the challenges of managing this type of organisation and the successes it has experienced. The following is the program of the event:

1. Date: Saturday, 17 March 2018
2. Time: 9:00am – timely arrival is required due to security formalities. Late arrivals cannot be admitted.
3. Meeting point: Malta International Airport, Gate 4 (Parking), access via the Mqabba/Zurrieq/ST roundabout (not the main terminal!), see meeting point here:
4. The event program covers:
(i) presentation of MATS – its Vision, Mission, Objective, Values, successes, challenges, etc. followed by Questions & Answers;
(ii) visit to the Control Tower (air traffic on Ground, Arrivals, Departure);
(iii) visit to the Malta Radar East/West (coverage of total Malta airspace).
5. Our visit is immediately followed by an informal lunch (latest information from the HAAM Council, networking, social) starting at 12noon at Hagar Qim Restaurant (10 min. car drive, free parking available) with à la carte lunch – location here.

The number of seats is limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
For MATS, only adults (18 years and above) are allowed.
Lunch is open to partners and guests who can directly arrive at the Restaurant at 12noon.

Costs: Members, partners, their guests pay for their food at restaurant. Members must be paid-up members. Contact Secretary to update membership if required.

Registration closing: Attendance to be confirmed by 10 March 2018 to the Secretary. If interested please book as early as possible to secure your place. Please include the above required details and the number of persons attending for lunch.
